Our Story
Sammaan for All began with the understanding that education has the power to transform lives.
Founder Neeta Bhasin was raised in a family where education, compassion, and giving back were core values. Her father was an educator who believed that knowledge creates opportunity, while her mother was a lifelong advocate for education and giving back to her community. Despite raising four children, she continued her own education, demonstrating that learning has no age limit. She also helped children in India gain access to education, believing every child deserved the opportunity to build a better future.
Inspired by her parents' example, Neeta carried these values forward. Her first act of giving was sponsoring the education of two young girls, Rajeshwari and Khushboo Misra, in India. She believed that by investing in their futures, she could help change the course of their lives.
Years later, that belief proved true.
Today, Khushboo has built a successful career as a medical doctor, while Rajeshwari has established a successful career at Bank of America in India. Their achievements demonstrate how education can transform lives and create lasting opportunities.
What began with supporting two students in 2001 has grown into a movement committed to empowering children, youth, women, and families through scholarships, educational support, and opportunities that foster confidence, independence, and long-term success.
